Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Vocational Program Coordinator for our Auto Repair program. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall coordination of vocational training initiatives, ensuring they align with industry standards and provide students with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. You will collaborate with instructors, industry partners, and administrative staff to create a dynamic learning environment that equips students for successful careers in the auto repair field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain curriculum standards for the Auto Repair program, ensuring alignment with industry needs and accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate training schedules, classroom logistics, and instructor assignments to optimize educational delivery.
- Facilitate partnerships with local auto repair shops and industry experts to enhance student learning experiences and employment opportunities.
- Monitor student progress and performance, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of program requirements.
- Conduct regular program evaluations and assessments, implementing improvements based on feedback and industry trends.
- Manage program budget and resources, ensuring effective allocation and utilization to meet program objectives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive repair or vocational training.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and implement curricula and training programs.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an educational setting, particularly with vocational programs.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards in vocational education.
- Certification in automotive repair (e.g., ASE certification) is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools and repair software.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking student progress.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Location
This role requires successful candidates to work from the office at least 3 days a week, with the option for remote work on other days.
