Role Overview
As a Helicopter Maintenance Supervisor at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will play a critical role in overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of helicopters. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all helicopter maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and company policies.
- Lead a team of skilled maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal fleet availability and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of maintenance practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to resolve technical issues and improve maintenance processes.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring timely procurement and availability.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports, documenting all work performed.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in helicopter maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Strong knowledge of helicopter systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working with specific helicopter models such as Bell, Sikorsky, or Airbus.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking software and compliance management tools.
- Experience in a military or emergency services aviation environment.
