Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Hearing Aid Repair Technician to join our innovative team, dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments. In this remote role, you will leverage your expertise in hearing aid technology and repair processes to lead a team of technicians, ensuring exceptional service delivery and adherence to quality standards across all repairs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire repair process for hearing aids, from diagnostics to final testing, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of hearing aid repair technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of repair processes.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of hearing aid devices to identify issues, and provide detailed reports on repair needs.
- Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on device performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in hearing aid repair or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing various hearing aid models.
- Strong understanding of hearing aid technology, components, and repair techniques.
- Experience in a leadership role, demonstrating effective team management and training capabilities.
Preferred:
- Certification from a recognized hearing aid specialist program.
- Experience with digital hearing aids and advanced repair technologies.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards for hearing aid repair and servicing.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of specialized tools and equipment for hearing aid repair.
