Responsibilities

- Advocate for the adoption of evidence-based practices through the effective use of informatics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize informatics projects that support clinical and business objectives
- Ensure compliance with health information regulations and standards, including HIPAA and HITECH
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in health informatics or healthcare IT leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully implementing EHR systems and managing health information technology projects
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, health data standards, and regulatory requirements
Preferred:
- PhD in a relevant field
- Experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and telehealth
- Certifications such as Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) or Certified Professional in Health Informatics (CPHI)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in health information systems, data architecture, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies applicable to healthcare
- Experience with cloud-based health informatics solutions and cybersecurity practices
