Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Grocery Checker to join our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of online grocery orders. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, while leveraging technology to streamline the grocery checking process.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify grocery items in online orders against the order list to ensure accuracy before fulfillment.
- Utilize our proprietary software to track inventory and report discrepancies or shortages.
- Conduct quality checks on perishable and non-perishable items to ensure they meet our freshness standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize order processing and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of checked orders and report any issues to the management team.
- Assist in training new team members on the grocery checking process and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in grocery or retail environments.
