Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Lead Courtesy Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the customer service operations and ensuring that all team members deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of courtesy clerks, ensuring adherence to company standards of service and professionalism.
- Coordinate daily operations, including customer assistance, bagging services, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and training to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Assist customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide product information to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Implement company policies and procedures related to customer service and team operations.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving customer service and operational efficiency.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
Preferred:
- Experience in a grocery or retail setting.
- Familiarity with retail operations and inventory management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems and customer service software.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
