Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fitness management or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
- Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM).
- Strong knowledge of fitness programming and trends, as well as experience in leading group fitness classes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and staff.
Preferred:
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a fitness or wellness organization.
- Knowledge of nutrition and wellness programming.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency with fitness management software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to analyze data related to program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies to promote fitness initiatives.
