Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Fire Sprinkler Supervisor to oversee the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems across various projects. As a key member of our team, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while leading a skilled team of technicians in delivering high-quality fire safety solutions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of fire sprinkler system installations, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to assess the installation process, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop project timelines and ensure successful project completion.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams, fostering a culture of safety and quality workmanship.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine material requirements and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Conduct training sessions for technicians on safety protocols and best practices in fire sprinkler system installation and maintenance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation and supervision, with a proven record of successful project delivery.
- Thorough knowledge of NFPA standards, local codes, and regulations related to fire protection systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Valid Fire Sprinkler License or certification in fire protection engineering.
Preferred:
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential fire protection projects.
- Familiarity with hydraulic calculations and fire protection design software.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of various fire protection systems, including wet, dry, and pre-action systems.
- Experience with fire alarm systems and integration with sprinkler systems.
- Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment used in fire sprinkler installation and repair.
