Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FIOS Installation Supervisor to lead our installation teams in delivering exceptional service and quality for our FIOS products. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation process, ensuring that all installations meet our rigorous standards while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of installation teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and installation best practices.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal FIOS installation strategies and troubleshoot any potential challenges.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to installation technicians, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Manage scheduling and dispatching of installation teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and escalations during the installation process, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on installation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications installation, with a focus on FIOS or similar products.
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or management role, with a track record of successfully managing teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of FIOS installation processes, equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Associates degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Certifications related to telecommunications or fiber optics.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of FIOS technology, fiber optics, and related telecommunications systems.
- Proficiency in using installation and troubleshooting tools, including signal testing equipment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
