Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while driving team performance and fostering a positive work environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing kitchen staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining effective communication with front-of-house operations to create an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and accountability
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storage of food products, while minimizing waste and controlling costs

- Develop and implement seasonal menus, focusing on ingredient quality, cost control, and culinary innovation

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and service
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- Culinary degree or relevant certification from an accredited institution
- Experience with menu development and food sourcing
- Familiarity with kitchen management software and POS systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in kitchen equipment and tools, including industrial ovens, mixers, and food processors
