Responsibilities

- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of engine prototypes to ensure adherence to performance and safety standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of engine designs, specifications, and testing methodologies
- Continuously analyze and refine engine performance metrics, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in engine design and development, with a proven track record in high-performance applications
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Expertise in thermal dynamics, fluid mechanics, and combustion engineering
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects from concept to production
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hybrid or electric engine technology development
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance for automotive engines
- Published research or patents in the field of engine technology
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of engine thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
- Proficient in advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing
- Experience with data acquisition systems and engine dynamometer testing
