Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Elevator Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our elevator systems. In this pivotal role, you will oversee maintenance operations, manage a skilled team of technicians, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the elevator maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators to ensure operational reliability.
- Develop and enforce maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts for malfunctioning elevator systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Provide training and mentorship to technicians, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
- Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and spare parts, ensuring optimal levels are maintained.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports, tracking performance metrics and compliance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in elevator maintenance or related field, with a proven track record of supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, and safety standards.
- Valid elevator mechanic license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
