Role Overview
We are seeking an Inclusion Coordinator to drive our mission of fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across all levels of the organization, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that our workplace culture is reflective of our core values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative DEI programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and promote a culture of inclusion.
- Conduct assessments and surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate training workshops and seminars to raise awareness and educate employees on inclusivity practices and cultural competencies.
- Act as a liaison between employees and leadership, addressing concerns related to diversity and inclusion and advocating for marginalized voices.
- Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to enhance diverse hiring practices and ensure equitable talent acquisition processes.
- Track and report on diversity metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within an organizational context.
- Proven ability to develop and execute DEI strategies that positively impact workplace culture.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience with employee resource groups (ERGs) and community engagement.
- Knowledge of legal compliance and best practices related to equal employment opportunity.
- Certification in diversity and inclusion or related areas.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in data analysis tools and survey platforms to measure and track inclusion metrics.
- Familiarity with human resources management systems (HRMS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Experience using collaboration tools to facilitate virtual training and workshops.
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire change.
- A genuine passion for promoting diversity and inclusion, coupled with a strong sense of empathy.
