Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Electroplating Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the electroplating sector. This role requires an individual with a strong technical background in electroplating processes, coupled with exceptional sales acumen to drive growth and enhance our market presence. You will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to provide solutions that meet client needs while achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth within the electroplating market.
- Identify and target new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical support and solutions to clients, ensuring successful project execution.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Lead negotiations with clients on pricing, contracts, and service agreements to secure profitable business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and technical demonstrations to potential clients.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management on progress against sales targets.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, specifically within the electroplating or related manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of electroplating processes, technologies, and applications.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of electroplating technologies and surface finishing applications.
- Proficiency in technical sales processes and methodologies.
