Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients with electrophysiological disorders.
- Perform diagnostic procedures including but not limited to Holter monitoring, electrophysiological studies, and interpretation of results.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
- Monitor and manage post-procedural patients, ensuring timely interventions and follow-up care.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the electrophysiology department.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Electrophysiology or Cardiology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiovascular setting, with specific experience in electrophysiology preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make independent clinical decisions.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced electrophysiology interventions such as catheter ablation and device implantation.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and performing ECG analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
- Knowledge of current electrophysiology technologies and treatment modalities.
