Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with acute and complex health conditions. You will utilize your advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices to deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, to evaluate acute health needs.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic test results to inform clinical decisions.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in acute care nursing practices, participating in ongoing professional development and education.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from an accredited body.
- Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the relevant state.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute or critical care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice.
Preferred:
- Experience in telehealth services or remote patient management.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and virtual care solutions.
- Strong understanding of clinical data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with electronic documentation and EHR systems.
