Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Chief Electrophysiology Cardiologist to lead our electrophysiology division. This role is critical in driving innovation and clinical excellence in cardiac electrophysiology practices, while overseeing a dynamic team of specialists dedicated to improving patient outcomes through advanced treatment methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge electrophysiology procedures and protocols, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.
- Oversee clinical operations, including patient management, research initiatives, and the training of medical staff in electrophysiology techniques.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including referring physicians, staff, and patients, to enhance the overall quality of care.
- Drive the strategic direction of the electrophysiology program, including clinical trials, research projects, and the adoption of new technologies.
- Provide expert consultation for complex cases and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient care.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology.
- A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology, with demonstrated leadership roles.
- Proven track record of clinical research and published contributions to the field of electrophysiology.
Preferred:
- Experience in telemedicine or remote patient monitoring technologies.
- Strong background in health system management and policy advocacy.
- Fellowship training in a recognized electrophysiology program.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in advanced electrophysiology procedures, including ablation techniques and device implantation.
- Familiarity with cardiac imaging technologies and data management systems related to electrophysiology.
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms.
