Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Educational Audiologist to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and evaluations to determine the hearing status of students.
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) that address the specific auditory needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to provide guidance on hearing-related educational strategies.
- Provide fitting, calibration, and maintenance of hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Deliver ongoing monitoring and support for students with hearing impairments, adjusting interventions as necessary.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Audiology or a related field.
- Valid state license to practice Audiology.
- Strong understanding of educational audiology practices and the impact of hearing loss on learning and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within educational settings and communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience working within school systems or educational settings.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and its application in educational environments.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or similar professional organization.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in audiological assessment tools and technologies, including audiometers and tympanometers.
- Knowledge of hearing aid fitting and maintenance technologies.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.
