Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our development capabilities and improve team productivity.
- Represent the development organization in executive leadership meetings, communicating progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling development teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep expertise in software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing them in software development environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with large-scale enterprise applications and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience in a high-growth technology startup or scale-up environment.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in cloud-native application development and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
