Role Overview
We are looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to create engaging, user-centered learning experiences that enhance knowledge retention and foster skill development. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design comprehensive learning solutions that align with our organizational goals and the diverse needs of our learners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct needs analysis and learner assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Design and develop interactive learning experiences using a variety of instructional strategies and technologies
- Implement and evaluate learning programs, ensuring they meet defined objectives and provide measurable outcomes
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine and enhance learning materials and methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with business strategies
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, providing ongoing support and coaching to learners
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in learning design
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
- Proficient in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)
- Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia production tools
- Experience in developing learning experiences for diverse audiences and learning styles
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in e-learning design software and development tools
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with data analytics tools to assess learning effectiveness
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment
- Adaptability to change and a willingness to embrace new technologies and methodologies
