Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Curriculum Development to lead the design and implementation of our educational programs. This leadership role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our curriculum meets the highest standards of quality and relevance, aligning with our mission to foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the curriculum development team in designing, reviewing, and updating educational content across various programs to align with industry standards and learner needs.
- Implement data-driven strategies to assess curriculum effectiveness and drive continuous improvement based on learner feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to integrate best practices in pedagogy, instructional design, and technology use into program development.
- Establish and maintain a framework for evaluating curriculum outcomes and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the curriculum development team, promoting professional development opportunities and mentorship.
- Engage with educational leaders and community partners to advocate for the importance of curriculum development and promote our educational initiatives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in curriculum design and development, with a proven track record in an educational leadership role.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and assessment strategies.
- Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Education or a related field.
- Experience with hybrid learning environments and educational technology integration.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation within an educational institution.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and curriculum design software.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools to evaluate curriculum effectiveness.
- Strong competency in using digital tools to enhance curriculum delivery and learner engagement.
