Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Director of Training and Development to lead and innovate our employee learning initiatives at [$COMPANY_NAME]. - Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure training aligns with operational needs and contributes to employee engagement and retention.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development to ensure our programs remain relevant and innovative.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs that drive employee performance and engagement.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Certification in training and development or related professional accreditation.
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with project management tools to manage training initiatives and timelines.
