Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Corn Detasseler Machine Operator to oversee and manage the operation of advanced detasseling machinery in our agricultural production facilities. In this role, you will ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and quality of detasseling processes while leading a team of operators to achieve production targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operation of corn detasseling machinery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Supervise and train a team of machine operators, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
- Monitor machine performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
- Coordinate detasseling schedules and workflows to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in agricultural machinery operation is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience operating agricultural machinery, with a focus on detasseling equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address equipment issues effectively.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating teams in an agricultural setting.
