Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage and labor hours
- Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and improve operational procedures
- Train and mentor junior mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of construction equipment
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver's license and necessary certifications for operating heavy machinery
Preferred:
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training in diesel mechanics or a related field
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software for modern construction machinery
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in construction environments
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of environmental compliance standards related to equipment maintenance
