Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Clinical Support Specialist to join our team, delivering exceptional support to our clinical staff and enhancing patient care. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and utilization of clinical systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist clinical staff in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical applications to enhance operational efficiency
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely troubleshooting and support for clinical software issues
- Conduct training sessions for new users on EHR functionalities and best practices
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption to clinical workflows
- Gather feedback from clinical staff to identify areas for improvement in system usability and functionality
- Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions to establish a knowledge base for future reference
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a clinical support role
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
- Basic understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EHR systems
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related field
- Experience in a clinical environment, such as a hospital or outpatient clinic
- Familiarity with clinical terminology and healthcare regulations
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Basic knowledge of database management and reporting tools
- Familiarity with remote support tools and troubleshooting methodologies
