Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Regional Childcare Center Director to oversee and manage multiple childcare facilities within our network. This role is critical in ensuring that our centers provide exceptional educational experiences, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a nurturing environment for children. You will lead a team of center directors, develop strategic initiatives, and implement best practices that align with our mission to deliver high-quality childcare services.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support center directors to achieve operational excellence across all facilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies that enhance educational programs and promote child development
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards
- Monitor and evaluate center performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budgeting and financial planning for the region, ensuring fiscal responsibility
- Foster positive relationships with families, staff, and community partners to enhance center visibility and engagement
- Conduct regular site visits to assess program quality and provide actionable feedback
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in childcare management or related roles
- Strong knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and mentoring teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred:
- Experience in multi-site management within the childcare or education sector
- Familiarity with curriculum development and early childhood education principles
- Certification in Child Development Associate (CDA) or similar recognized credential
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using management software and tools for scheduling, reporting, and compliance tracking
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive informed decision-making
- Experience with educational technology tools that enhance learning experiences
