Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Charter Coach Operations Supervisor to oversee our charter operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team, manage daily operational activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of charter coach operations, including scheduling, route planning, and resource allocation
- Lead and mentor a team of drivers and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and service quality
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular audits and training sessions
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback, resolving issues promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes and improve overall service delivery
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, with a focus on charter services
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in the transportation industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field
- Experience with fleet management software and operational analytics tools
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
