Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in fire investigation to provide critical insights into vehicle fire incidents, ensuring thorough analysis and accurate reporting. You will lead investigations, mentor junior investigators, and collaborate with various stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive investigations of vehicle fire incidents, applying advanced techniques to determine the origin and cause.
- Lead and mentor a team of investigators, providing training and guidance on best practices, methodologies, and safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, methodologies, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, insurance companies, and legal entities to support investigations and provide expert testimony as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and relevant legislation to enhance investigative techniques and methodologies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire investigation, with a focus on vehicle incidents.
- Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) designation or equivalent certification.
- Proven track record of leading complex investigations and producing high-quality reports.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
Preferred:
- Experience with fire dynamics and automotive systems.
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in fire investigations.
- Advanced certifications such as Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
