Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insulation Supervisor to oversee insulation installation projects across various sectors. This fully remote position requires a detail-oriented leader who can coordinate teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage insulation installation projects from initial planning through to execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Supervise and mentor insulation installation teams, providing guidance on best practices and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement or corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain documentation of work performed, including daily logs, safety reports, and project updates.
- Implement training programs for team members to enhance skills and ensure knowledge of industry standards and techniques.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in insulation installation or supervision, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and relevant safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Preferred:
- Experience in commercial or industrial insulation applications.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and building codes relevant to insulation.
- Certification or training in insulation installation or related fields.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using project management software and tools to track project progress and team performance.
- Ability to utilize safety management systems to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with thermal and acoustic insulation materials and their applications.
