Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insulation Supervisor to lead our insulation team in executing high-quality insulation projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance. This role is essential in ensuring that insulation installation meets industry standards while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee insulation installation projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives and timelines
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, equipment usage, and team performance
- Implement best practices for insulation techniques and materials to optimize energy efficiency and performance
- Train and mentor team members on insulation methods, safety practices, and compliance standards
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and safety audits
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of insulation materials and tools
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in insulation installation or supervision within the construction or industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and safety regulations
- Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders
Preferred:
- Experience with specialized insulation applications, such as thermal, acoustic, or fire-resistant insulation
- Certifications in OSHA safety standards or relevant industry certifications
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- In-depth understanding of insulation materials, installation techniques, and relevant building codes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Ability to use project management software to track project progress and resources
