Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Master Carpentry Instructor to join our passionate team dedicated to crafting the next generation of skilled carpenters. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools to create engaging and comprehensive learning experiences for students ranging from beginners to advanced practitioners.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Development:
- Design and implement a dynamic carpentry curriculum that covers fundamental skills, advanced techniques, and safety practices.
- Create instructional materials, including video tutorials, written guides, and interactive projects that cater to various learning styles.
- Continuously assess and update course content based on industry trends and student feedback to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Instruction and Mentorship:
- Deliver engaging online lectures, workshops, and hands-on projects that inspire and challenge students.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Mentor students through their carpentry projects, helping them develop problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain an active online community for students to share their work, seek advice, and collaborate on projects.

- Actively participate in industry forums and workshops to promote the program and attract potential students.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional carpentry experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Experience in teaching or training, with a proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Deep understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques, including woodworking, framing, and finishing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
