Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Foreman to lead our team of skilled carpenters in executing high-quality construction projects. This role will be crucial in ensuring that all carpentry work is completed with precision and according to project specifications while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the carpentry team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Review blueprints and project specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Certification or training in carpentry or related fields
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in carpentry tools and equipment, including power tools and hand tools
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend)
