Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cable Installation Supervisor to lead our installation teams in delivering high-quality cable services. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage installation projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide mentorship to technicians while fostering a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cable installation teams, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement training programs for new technicians, focusing on installation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the installation process.
- Monitor equipment and inventory, ensuring that all tools and materials are available and in good working order.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations for installation team members, guiding their professional development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in cable installation or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cable installation techniques, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration and client satisfaction.
Preferred:
- Experience with fiber optic installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with the latest cable technologies and equipment.
- Relevant certifications in cable installation or project management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using various cable installation tools and equipment.
