Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager who will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes and driving operational excellence. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in logistics and inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and maintain top-tier service levels for our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the overall business objectives and improve operational efficiency
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and forecast demand accurately
- Lead supplier relationship management, ensuring that suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline operations, enhance distribution strategies, and reduce overall supply chain costs
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand planning tools)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP, or similar)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel and data visualization software
- Experience with vendor management systems and procurement software
