Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales growth, and enhancing customer service standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing branch operations, including staffing, training, and performance management
- Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales targets and implementing strategies to drive business growth
- Foster a customer-centric environment by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing service delivery
- Monitor branch performance metrics and provide insights to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, conducting regular audits as necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement community engagement initiatives and promotional events
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, with a focus on operations or customer service
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members
- Strong understanding of banking products and services, including regulations and compliance
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in a branch management or supervisory role
- Familiarity with financial software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis
- Experience with branch management software and financial databases
- Ability to analyze financial statements and branch performance metrics
