Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee our banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery for various events. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of banquet services, from planning and coordination to execution and post-event evaluations, while leading a dedicated team to create memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of banquet events, ensuring all details are aligned with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, service team, and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery during events.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Manage event budgets, including cost control and invoicing, ensuring profitability on all banquet operations.
- Train, mentor, and supervise banquet staff, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring high levels of performance.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in banquet management or event coordination, preferably in a hospitality or catering environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Experience with event management software and technology.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and service styles.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in event management software and scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Basic financial software knowledge for budgeting and invoicing.
