Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of complex systems and machinery. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues across a wide range of systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards
- Lead and mentor junior mechanics, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system designs and enhance overall equipment effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in maintenance operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, with a proven track record of excellence
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues
- Relevant certifications in mechanical repair and maintenance (e.g., ASE, EPA) are preferred
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to optimize repair processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a maintenance team
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and repair techniques
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as specialized diagnostic equipment
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
