Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Oversee the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, ensuring alignment with the institution's mission and values
- Develop and manage budgets for specific sports programs while identifying opportunities for fundraising and sponsorships
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including student-athletes, parents, coaches, and community partners
- Implement and assess performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of athletic programs
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in athletic administration or a related field
- Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and collaboration
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Sports Administration or a related field
- Experience with fundraising, sponsorship development, and community engagement
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic plans
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis software and athletic management systems
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management tools
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital engagement strategies
