Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment, identifying and addressing any maintenance or safety issues
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to determine project requirements and timelines
- Train and mentor junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and material quantities
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to construction and safety
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience operating asphalt rollers in a construction environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Certification in heavy equipment operation or related field
- Experience with other construction equipment, such as graders and pavers
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in operating asphalt rollers and other heavy machinery
- Understanding of basic mechanical principles and maintenance procedures
