Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Armament Supervisor to oversee and manage the armament systems and related technical operations for our fleet of aircraft. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of armament operations, and you will lead a team of skilled technicians to maintain and optimize armament systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft armament systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in armament operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of armament systems to identify and rectify any issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Coordinate with engineering and operational teams to support aircraft modifications and upgrades related to armament systems.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of maintenance activities, adhering to regulatory and company standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs for team members on armament systems and safety protocols.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in military aircraft armament systems or related field, with a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise.
- Thorough understanding of armament systems, including munitions, launchers, and related support equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in safety management and compliance with industry regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced armament technologies and systems integration.
- Possession of relevant certifications or licenses related to aircraft armament.
- Military experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable.
