Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Fleet Admiral to oversee our expansive fleet operations. In this pivotal role, you will set the vision and direction for our fleet, ensuring excellence in operational efficiency, safety, and compliance across all maritime activities. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of naval operations and leadership to drive innovation and maintain our position as a leader in the maritime industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of fleet operations, including logistics, navigation, and maintenance, to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve sustainability targets
- Establish policies and procedures to comply with maritime laws and regulations, ensuring the safety and security of all fleet personnel
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and operational workflows
- Monitor fleet performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making
- Act as a primary liaison with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain strong relationships and ensure compliance
- Mentor and develop senior operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in maritime operations or fleet management roles, with a proven track record of leadership
- Comprehensive knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and operational best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive data-driven decision-making
Preferred:
- Experience in managing large-scale fleet operations within a global context
- Advanced degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven ability to implement innovative technologies to enhance fleet operations
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
