Publicity Agent Cover Letter Examples

Dear Ms. Johnson,

I am excited to submit my application for the Publicity Agent position at HarperCollins Canada. With a strong background in public relations and a passion for literature, I am eager to contribute my skills in media outreach and strategic communication to promote your exceptional catalog of books and authors.

In my previous role at Penguin Random House, I successfully orchestrated a publicity campaign for a bestselling author that resulted in a 30% increase in media placements and a notable spike in book sales. By leveraging my relationships with key media outlets and utilizing social media platforms, I was able to secure interviews and features that significantly enhanced the author’s visibility. My ability to create compelling press materials and coordinate events has consistently led to heightened public interest and engagement.

I am particularly drawn to HarperCollins Canada because of your commitment to nurturing diverse voices and innovative storytelling. I admire your recent initiatives aimed at promoting underrepresented authors, and I share your belief in the transformative power of literature. As a Publicity Agent, I would be thrilled to contribute to campaigns that not only elevate authors but also resonate with readers across Canada.

Thank you for considering my application. I am looking forward to the opportunity to discuss how my experience and enthusiasm align with the goals of HarperCollins Canada. I am eager to bring my expertise in publicity to your esteemed team and help drive the success of your publications.

Sincerely,
Emily Thompson
