We believe that life's greatest moments and deepest connections exist outside your comfort zone. Our story began in the summer of 2015 in Montreal, Canada, when four strangers—Thomas, Ammar, Matt, and Derin—met and bonded over a shared desire to live a life that challenged and excited us. We were tired of the routine and wanted to see what would happen if we started saying 'yes' to the things that scared us. This experiment, originally called Project 30, involved doing thirty things we had never done before in thirty days. It wasn't just about the adrenaline; it was about breaking down the mental barriers that held us back from connecting with others and our true selves.

Since those early days in a one-bedroom apartment, we have grown into a global movement with millions of community members who share our philosophy. We've traveled the world, challenged Will Smith to a heli-bungee jump, and explored the least visited countries on Earth, all with the goal of proving that the world is kinder and more open than we often think. Today, Yes Theory is more than just a YouTube channel; it is a digital media brand and a community dedicated to seeking discomfort.
