We are seeking a Principal AI Product Manager, this new role will be the strategic architect of our internal AI transformation. Reporting directly to the VP of ETT, you will move the organisation from fragmented "Shadow AI" usage to a unified, secure Enterprise Agent Fabric. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a "Player-Coach" mentality: you will steer the internal AI Council, interface with US-based C-level stakeholders, and partner with an Ireland-based Technical Delivery Lead to build the "AI OS" that powers our global workforce. Your goal is to move us beyond experimentation into a structured, high-impact AI adoption model that scales across all internal functional areas.

This isn't just a Product Management role; it is a strategic architect position at the centre of WP Engine’s global evolution. You will move the organisation beyond AI experimentation into a unified, secure Enterprise Agent Fabric, reporting directly to the VP of ETT. You’ll be the "connective tissue" between our US-based Executive Team and our technical delivery squads, translating complex concepts like LLMOps and Token Economics into high-impact business narratives.
Direct Executive Influence: You will steer the internal AI Council, acting as a high-visibility advisor to the C-suite to define the agenda for AI adoption, ethics, and investment.
Build the "AI OS": You’ll define the requirements for a centralised orchestration layer, ensuring AI agents can securely "read and write" to our core systems via MuleSoft and native API integrations.
Drive Massive Transformation: You are joining at a pivotal moment as we undergo a global Data Overhaul and a Lead-to-Cash modernisation. You’ll ensure our AI frameworks are built on high-fidelity data, moving us from fragmented "Shadow AI" to a governed, world-class Internal AI Gateway.
Balance Innovation with Integrity: You will lead the "Buy vs. Build" strategy—evaluating native AI features in Salesforce and Workday against custom RAG-based solutions—while embedding automated security guardrails directly into the platform’s DNA.

Required background:
7-10+ years in Product Management, specifically in Enterprise Platforms, Data Products, or Systems Architecture.
Deep AI/ML & Data Mastery: A functional understanding of how generative AI tools, LLMs, and RAG work, and the critical importance of data hygiene.
Integration Literacy: Deep understanding of MuleSoft (or similar middleware) as the connectivity tissue for AI agents.
Governance Strength: Proven track record of leading AI ethics, responsible AI, and data governance.
Executive Presence: Ability to partner closely across business functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal) and influence C-Suite stakeholders.
Location: Based in Ireland with the ability to sync daily with US Central/East Coast hours.
Middleware & Integration: Deep understanding of MuleSoft as the connectivity tissue for AI agents to interact with enterprise systems.
Data Engineering Literacy: Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing (Snowflake), and BI tools. Ability to define data "cleanliness" standards for LLM consumption.
The GenAI Stack: Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), Vector Databases, and Model Evaluation frameworks (Ragas, TruLens).
Nice-to-Haves:
Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and Vector Databases.
Hands-on experience with Model Evaluation frameworks (Ragas, TruLens).
Experience with "Native AI" evaluations (Salesforce Einstein, Zendesk AI, etc.).
Familiarity with Snowflake and BI toolsets.
