Front End / Full Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging web applications with a focus on front-end technologies and interactive user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements and transform them into technical specifications.
• Implement responsive layouts and accessibility standards to enhance user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to ensure top-notch software quality.
• Conduct proper testing and debugging to ensure robustness and performance of applications.
• Take part in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to perpetually improve the development process.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to facilitate effective team collaboration.
• Contribute to back-end developments when necessary, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems.
• Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the development workflow.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Front End/Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) preferred.
• Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in DevOps practices, especially with AWS, is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in Risk, Underwriting and/or Payments Industry is preferred.
