Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

We’re hiring a Software Developer to build ShareGate’s upcoming Identity Migration feature - our biggest step into infrastructure migration. You'll be part of a newly formed team, working alongside senior technical leaders to shape this key product expansion and solve complex, high-impact problems. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute to the early growth of a new product vertical trusted by IT professionals across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality, scalable software solutions that support business and technical goals.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver valuable features from discovery to production.
  • Take ownership of your work, ensuring code quality, reliability, and maintainability with support from your peers and mentors.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to learn best practices and uphold quality standards.
  • Proactively seek feedback, suggest improvements, and share ideas to help the team continuously improve.

  • Minimal meetings ensure your energy goes into solving challenging problems and delivering features.
  • Collaboration happens organically via Slack or Discord—fast, lightweight, and flow-friendly.

What does your future team look like?  

Join a brand-new team built around a Staff Developer and two developers. You’ll work closely with experienced developers and gain valuable exposure to technical leadership. The team includes a dedicated product manager and designer. You'll report to a software development manager focused on supporting your growth and success.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team? 

  • Build a secure, production-ready MVP and deliver it to select customers for early validation.
  • Iterate rapidly based on feedback to move toward a general availability release.
  • Help shape identity migration into a core part of ShareGate’s product offering.
  • Play a key role in solving technical challenges and laying the foundation for long-term success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of software development experience;
  • Familiarity with C#/.NET and WPF for desktop or mobile application development;
  • Good understanding of programming fundamentals — data structures, control flow, and object-oriented design;
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git);
  • Knowledge of identity systems or Microsoft APIs (Active Directory, Entra ID, Graph SDK, MSAL, SharePoint, etc.) is a plus;
  • Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset;
  • Attention to detail, autonomy, and eagerness to keep learning.
