Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize fitness and health content for cultural relevance and contextual accuracy.
• Adapt content to reflect linguistic and cultural nuances while preserving the original message and tone.
• Review and edit translated content for precision, consistency, and quality.
• Ensure adherence to industry-specific terminology and style guidelines.
• Stay updated on fitness and health trends, terminology, and innovations.
• Provide insights and expertise on fitness and health topics.
• Conduct research to support content creation and ensure the accuracy of fitness and health-related information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Sports Science, Fitness Management, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in translation and localization with a focus on fitness content.
• Proficiency in English and French, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both.
• Strong understanding of fitness terminology and the ability to convey the specifics and nuances of fitness content.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Passion for fitness and a deep understanding of the fitness community and culture.
