We are looking for a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our backend development team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in building scalable and secure systems, and who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs following best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle—from design and development to deployment, operations, and incident management.
- Contribute to the development of high-scale commercial SaaS applications.
- Ensure systems are highly available, resilient, and secure, with best-in-class instrumentation, logging, and monitoring.
- Work with modern infrastructure tools like containers, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Maintain awareness of security and privacy standards, data governance requirements, and apply secure coding and deployment practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–6 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Golang, Java, .NET, or JavaScript, with a clear understanding of their trade-offs and ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience in designing and operating scalable cloud-based solutions; exposure to at least one public cloud platform (AWS preferred, or Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with noSQL databases and scalable data transport/persistence mechanisms.
- Experience with DevOps tooling: CI/CD, containers, infrastructure-as-code.
- Deep knowledge of system performance, fault tolerance, observability, and disaster recovery (HA/DR).
- Awareness of secure development practices and privacy standards in software development.
Preferred Experience
- Background in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry, particularly in areas such as Access, Identity, and Governance.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
