At VERSES, we're shaping the future of computing with our natural computing platform, Genius. We're looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join our integrations team.

✍️ Roles and Responsibilities

• As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on a player/coach role, you will:
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable software to enable customers in various industries to deploy intelligent solutions, meeting diverse business needs
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Work closely with partners to develop and implement solutions as they onboard to the Genius Platform, ensuring a seamless integration and adoption process.
• Collaborate with partners to integrate various systems, utilizing strategic integration approaches to enhance system interoperability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define software requirements and guarantee successful implementation.
• Lead technical discussions, offer mentorship, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices through active participation in code reviews.
• Develop and maintain quality code, including the creation of automated testing and implementation/use of automated test suites.
• Proactively tackle technical issues and challenges, focusing on performance optimization and scalability.
• Ensure the seamless deployment of software systems to production environments, working closely with DevOps/Ops and other teams to maintain system uptime and reliability.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in software engineering, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

🎓 Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on developing solutions for, and supporting, enterprise-scale applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers while also contributing individually to projects. This includes balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical work.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Rust.
• Solid experience with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for identifying and implementing solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in integrating various systems at scale, demonstrating the ability to architect solutions for enterprise-level applications (ie. connectors, system integrations).

Bonus:

💵 Job Type

Regular, Full-time

Remote - USA & Canada

Starting at $160,000 for US based individuals; geographically adjusted as appropriate to location.
