About the Position
Verato is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you’ll partner closely with demand generation, sales, product management, and customer success teams to ensure our content and positioning are both informed by real market needs and optimized for impact. If you love synthesizing complex ideas into clear, differentiated messages — and you have a knack for uncovering what really matters to buyers — this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
Strategic – Market, Focus, Pricing and Planning
· Prepare data for win/loss analysis and support the PMM in conducting quarterly win/loss reviews.
· Conduct competitive research and ensure material is distributed, stored and updated in appropriate systems.
· Support the development of persona content and ensure material distributed, stored and updated in appropriate systems.
Execution – Programs, Enablement and Support
· Support launch plan execution including plan development, meetings, communications.
· Support the development of content and enablement materials as directed by PMM and VP.
· Support the creation of high-impact, market-facing content including solution briefs, blogs, white papers, competitive battlecards, analyst briefings, and thought leadership.
· Support development of sales tools like pitch decks, FAQs, talk tracks, and customer-facing one-pagers based on research and content themes.
· Track engagement and performance of key content assets. Use insights to optimize future content strategy and inform go-to-market plans. Conduct regular content audits.
RequirementsEducation
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
Required Experience
- Ideally certified in Product Marketing and/or Product Management from Pragmatic University
- At least two years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or market research (preferably in B2B SaaS)
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published content or enablement materials
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Highspot, and content CMS platforms is critical.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM), CRM, or data interoperability tools a plus.
